Jarlsberg® muffins
with honey and walnuts
Ingredients
- 150 g flour
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 25 g butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 50 g honey
- 50 g chopped walnuts
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 50 g Jarlsberg®, grated
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375°. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Beat egg and milk together with a fork, and add to dry mixture, stirring until just moistened. Add honey, walnuts, lemon zest and grated Jarlsberg®. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm
