Ingredients
- 12 slices if light sourdough bread
- 50 g butter
- 4 slices of Jarlsberg® original
- 4 slices of Jarlsberg® Special reserve
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 8 slices of cured ham or ostrich
- 4 – 6 tablespoons sweet and sour chutney, for example Mrs Ball’s
- 1 pack of streaky bacon
- 4 tablespoons rapeseed oil
Preparation
Fry the bacon until crispy. Spread the butter on a bread slice and put cheese, ostrich (or ham), tomato, onion, bacon and chutney on top. Add another bread slice on top and repeat. Tie together with a string. Brush with oil. Grill on middle heat until the cheese melts and the bread has got color.
